Collaboration dossier · 2026/27 Season
We build neighbourhood. We play big.
61 years of basketball, more than 450 families and a historic season in the Supercopa. The Barna is a real community in the heart of Barcelona.
Our own community and digital performance data · Q2 2026. We don't sell inflated numbers: we build visibility with daily sports activity, in-house events and a digital strategy that already reaches far beyond our social base.
We're not just a logo on a jersey
We are a development club rooted in El Clot, with a daily presence in the lives of hundreds of families and the ability to turn a collaboration into content, experience and a sense of belonging.
Humility · Effort · Team · Ambition
From the first dribble in the Escoleta to the top Catalan category.
Competitive positioning
The structure of a big club, with a neighbourhood soul
The Catalan Basketball Federation publishes an official record for every club: how many teams it has, which divisions it competes in and whether its first senior team belongs to the same organisation as the youth section. With that public data, here is how Barna stands against Catalonia's reference clubs.
- FC Barcelona — 10 federated teams in Catalonia, men's only, from under-10 to under-18, with no under-8 side. And no women's team at all: its women's basketball project (Barça CBS, with CB Santfeliuenc) closed at the end of 2024-25 for financial reasons, having reached the Liga F Endesa. Its men's reserve senior side plays in the Copa Catalunya, not the Super Copa; the first team plays in the ACB.
- Joventut Badalona (la Penya) — the largest youth section in Catalonia: 53 teams, from under-8 to under-18, on both sides. No senior team of its own in this organisation: whoever makes it to the top leaves the club.
- Bàsquet Manresa — two separate clubs by gender: 17 men's teams with no senior side, and a separate women's club (Manresa CBF) with a senior team in Liga Femenina 2, the national league.
- Fundació Bàsquet Girona — 23 teams, from under-8 to under-18, on both sides, chaired by Marc Gasol. It has no senior team of its own either: its first team plays in the Liga Endesa, outside this record.
- CB Grup Barna — more than 34 teams, from under-8 to senior, and the only one on this list with two senior teams — first and reserve — on both sides at once, both competing in the FCBQ Super Copa, the top regional division.
What makes us different
At the big clubs, the youth section and the first team are almost never the same organisation. At Barna they are: the same player who joins the Escoleta at 4 can end up playing in the Super Copa without ever changing shirt.
