Investing in Barna

CB Grup Barna does not sell advertising space: it sells access to a community. 450+ families in El Clot and Sant Martí, 400 players, 22 partner businesses, two senior teams in the Supercopa, a women's project that is half the club, and the club's own events in the centre of Barcelona. This page explains what a brand gets and how to come in.

What is on the other side

A sponsorship is worth what the audience behind it is worth. These are the club's numbers, and every one of them can be backed up: there is no inflated estimate here.

On top of that there is the club's own channel. @cbgrupbarna averages 439,000 views a month on Instagram, with content produced by the club itself: match days, the Escoleta, women's basketball, the staff's work. A partner brand does not show up there as a hoarding in the background of a photo: it shows up inside a story the neighbourhood watches all the way through.

And then there is the territory, which is what no digital campaign buys well: El Clot and Sant Martí. La Nau del Clot, six courts in the district, the 3x3 at Westfield Glòries registered with FIBA, the summer camp and the open days. A neighbourhood business is not after reach: it is after being part of the life of the neighbourhood. That is exactly what the club sells.

Who is behind those views

This is not anonymous traffic: Instagram's professional dashboard (Meta Business Suite) says who follows the account and from where. The audience is mostly adult — 58.8% men, 41.2% women, with the strongest age groups at 45-54 (32%) and 25-34 (22%) — in other words parents, not just young players. Geographically, 88.8% is from Spain and 43.2% from the city of Barcelona, with the rest spread across Badalona, l'Hospitalet, Mataró and other towns in the metropolitan area: exactly the local audience a neighbourhood brand wants to reach.

The account has also picked up speed: the 2025-26 season has reached 1.97 million accounts and 6.44 million views, 32-33% more than the previous season, with shares up 3.9 times. In three seasons the follower count has gone from 2,800 to more than 5,000 — 92% growth — and the account has 8.9 million accumulated views since it opened.

Seven things, not one

The usual question is «how much does it cost to put the logo up». The useful answer is a different one: the logo is the small part of what a partner business gets.

01 · Visibility

A physical and digital presence

Kit, hoardings and vinyls at La Nau del Clot, match-day artwork, a page and a link on the club's website, and a presence at the events.

02 · Content

The club produces, it does not just display

Reels, match photography, carousels and posts: the partner comes into the content the club already makes every week, not an isolated piece nobody looks at.

See the club's channel →
03 · Activation

Doing something, not just appearing

Stands, prize draws, experiences for families, product sampling at the camp and the 3x3, discounts for members. Instax and Illa Fantasia are examples that already work.

04 · Network

Barna Business

The 22 partner businesses do not only know the club: they know each other. That is the part no advertising hoarding gives you.

How it works →
05 · Reputation

Impact you can explain

Women's basketball as half the club, the Barna Màgics inclusive team, the LOPIVI child protection protocol and the equality plan. A partner brand can justify the investment internally with something more than reach.

06 · Territory

El Clot and Sant Martí

Eix Clot, Eix Comercial Sant Martí, Mercat dels Encants and Westfield Glòries are already in. The club is one of the few places where the district's businesses meet.

07 · Events

Four dates a year

The 3x3 at Westfield Glòries, the summer camp, the open days and the Premi Dona i Esport. Each one is an activation with an audience, not a mention.

Barna Business

This is the idea that changes the conversation. A neighbourhood club usually offers visibility, and a neighbourhood club's visibility will always be cheaper than a big club's. Competing on price is losing.

What Barna does have, and few others do, is a concentration of commercial fabric in a small territory: 22 businesses from El Clot and Sant Martí sharing a crest. Barna Business puts them in touch with each other — around the club's events and at meetings built for that — so being a partner stops being a communications expense and becomes a way into the district's business fabric.

For a neighbourhood business that is worth more than a logo on a shirt. And for the club it means sponsorship gets renewed because it works, not out of obligation.

How to come in

There is no single format, and you do not have to put in money. A good share of the current agreements are in kind: product, service, space or experiences for the club's families. For many neighbourhood businesses it is the natural way to start.

  • In-kind partnership — product, service or a discount for members.
  • Team partner — linked to one team and its season.
  • Event partner — the 3x3, the camp, the open days or the Premi Dona i Esport.
  • Club partner — a presence across the season, the venues and the channel.

The starting point is always the same: a meeting to understand what the business needs, and then a tailored proposal with concrete deliverables. The commercial pack can be downloaded beforehand.
